Frequently Asked Questions

How do the workshops run?+
Workshops aren't lectures — they're facilitated sessions. The facilitator gives the team tasks and questions that guide them through solving real problems.
How does the collaboration process work?+
We start with a short call to understand your team's context and challenges. Based on that conversation and a brief anonymous questionnaire, we select or tailor a module, then deliver the workshop, provide a summary with agreements, and optionally follow up with an impact measurement. Read the full process here.
Are the modules fixed or customized?+
Modules are a structured framework that we always adapt to your team's specific challenges and dynamics. The YOU module is fully bespoke.
How long does a workshop take?+
Most workshops run about three hours; by agreement we can shorten or extend the session depending on your team's needs, content and desired scope.
Where do the workshops take place?+
Workshops usually take place in your own workplace, where the team normally collaborates. If you'd prefer another location, we can arrange an external venue — we also work with external venue providers if you need help organizing that.
What does it cost?+
Price depends on duration, number of participants and the modules chosen. After the intro call, we prepare a tailored proposal for each company.
What if none of the modules fit?+
Then we design a custom solution together: in-depth diagnostics, a tailored workshop, a series of sessions, or ongoing support over a longer period. More about custom solutions.
Can you help with hiring a new team member?+
Yes. Together we look at what kind of profile the team truly needs, how a new person would fit the existing dynamic, and what the team should pay attention to when onboarding them.
Do you also work with external experts?+
Yes. When a team's needs go beyond what we deliver directly, we bring in vetted external experts as needed — for example for psychological assessments or other specialist areas — so the team gets the support it truly needs in that situation.
What does the name EQUIA mean?+
EQUIA combines EQ — emotional intelligence — with the idea of balance, or equilibrium. It represents the balance between business goals and the people who deliver them, between results and relationships, and between the individual and the team. Pronounced "eh-KVEE-ah".
Is EQUIA teambuilding?+
Not in the classic sense. EQUIA uses active, interactive methods, but the goal isn't just a pleasant shared experience. The goal is for the team to better understand how it operates and to leave the workshop with concrete agreements and tools for everyday work.
What if we don't know what the real problem in our team is?+
That's a good enough starting point. Teams often sense that something isn't working optimally but struggle to pinpoint why. Before the workshop, we look at the current situation together and find the area where we can make the biggest difference.
How many participants can a workshop include?+
Workshops are designed for small to medium-sized teams, where there's enough room for every individual to actively participate.
